The art of golden steel or goldsmithing was formed in the Joharian family from the Safavid period and evolved in different periods. One of the most prominent figures in this field of art is Master Mohammad Joharian. In a way, most of those who work in this field are indebted to this master.

Marking is a branch of art of steelmaking, symbols such as 3 blades, 5 blades, 7 blades, etc. Usually the number of blades of the mark is odd,the middle blade is called the king blade.

Symbols are commonly used in Shiite religious ceremonies such as Tasua and Ashura.

Iron sheets and wires with different thicknesses are cut according to the design and connected to each other with various tools such as different hammers, anvils, saws, sanders, welding machines, etc., then polished and scraped to be completely smooth.
scratches are made in the form of warp and weft in the sculpture or the resulting product with a tool. Then, 24 carat gold or pure silver is formed into a thread, which is threaded and hammered on the steel with special hammers.

After gilding, it is sealed with jade and gold or silver is engraved on the steel. In this way, statues, sculptures, tools such as pliers, locks, pens, braziers, scissors, etc are produced.

Some of these parts can be worked as latticework.
Davakari(patina) is a method in which a sculpture or line is painted and embossed after the completion of a sculpture.

In this art, patina, lattice, turquoise and gilding are done and each of them needs its own special skills.
