Papier mache mirror is a combination of pieces of paper or paper pulp, which is strengthened by an adhesive.

Papier-mâché is originally a French word meaning pressed paper (papier meaning paper and mâché meaning crumpled), and the reason for its name is that the paper is mixed with the pulp after it has been kneaded and pressed to form a substructure. This art became popular in Iran during the Safavid period and the cities of Isfahan and Qazvin were the main production centers of this art.
